BESOS
BESOS is the newest project from producer and multi-instrumentalist Alejandro Preciado. Similar in feel to his previous project, Murphy N Weller, BESOS fuses cumbia with smooth, layed back R&B grooves and airy vocals.

Just Pretend
Just Pretend is a a trio featuring Emily Warden on alto saxophone, keys, and lead vocals; Kyle Merrifield on tenor saxophone and bass guitar, and myself on drum kit and percussion.
The music is jazz-inflected and groove-oriented, and relies on looping as Emily and Kyle both double (or triple) on instruments.
Emily composes the bulk of the music, with input from Kyle and myself, and in addition to a few covers.

Fresh Track
Guitarist and pianist Alex Weinberg leads, composes, and arranges for Fresh Track, an all star band which performs highly-danceable, jazz-influenced, funky electronic tunes.

Portland Kora Project
The Portland Kora Project plays traditional compositions with origins in West Africa, and original compositions nodding toward Afro-Latin, Afro-Brazilian, and American Jazz origins.
The band consists of Will Dudley on kora and ngoni, Ben Finley on acoustic and electric guitar, and Darian Anthony Patrick on percussion.
